Production
Whichever genre you are writing/working in, it’s important to us to include organic sounds whenever possible. We specialize in acoustic/electric guitar, cello, and bass instrumentation, and love the magic mojo they bring to a production. This, matched with modern virtual instrumentation makes for a powerful combination.

Ranging from warm acoustic/organic instrumentation to modern pop, hip hop, blues rock, and holiday flavours, Mixmatched socks brings a special magic "Mojo" to the sync world. What is MixMatched Socks Productions?
MixMatched Socks Productions (MMSP), located in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, produces high quality recordings and music services for a variety of creative projects. It was founded in 2021 by recording/international touring artist, Michael Averill - an avid supporter of the mixmatched socks lifestyle!
Michael has worn a tall stack of hats. Besides being a prolific songwriter and performer, he has run a festival, curated the Vancouver chapter of a global songwriting initiative, sound engineered live events, and hosted more jams/open mics/and community events than are countable. He has played thousands of shows, from big stages to small living rooms, and knows what it takes to build a music career in the modern industry. He literally walked over 4000 miles over 8 years with his last tour, and continues to find unconventional ways to help people connect through his projects.
MMSP has helped songwriters around the globe write 1500+ songs, and prides themselves on their ability to serve client needs with personal and playful care. The more wild, wacky, sentimental, or meaningful the project, the better!
